As we look forward to the 2023 Legion baseball season, the following is a list of dates for events and tournaments we plan to attend or host this summer.
Below is the link to the 2023 Bloomington Legion Post 550 Baseball Player Registration form. Each player will need their own SportsEngine user account separate from their parents. Registration is now open and we encourage you to register as early as possible. Registration will close April 15th, 2023 at midnight.
Age breakdown is by birth year and is as follows:
Senior - 2004 and 2005
Junior - 2006 and younger.
Some junior players may be asked by the coaches to be dual rostered on one of the senior teams as well.
Player fees for those who are selected for a team this season will $500. Fees will be collected at the PAC / uniform handout meeting. If financial assistance is needed there is a limited amount of scholarship money available by request by contacting Mark Scott.

Below is the link to the SignUp Genius for the 2022-2023 Legion Post 550 Baseball Meat Raffles held every Saturday starting October 1st through March 25th from 11:45AM - 3:00PM at The Sportspage, 9014 Lyndale Ave S. We need 2 volunteers for each Saturday. Please take the opportunity to sign up for as many shifts as you want. Each shift filled will provide a credit toward your 2023 player fees. Adults only please!
The steering committee typically meets the 3rd Sunday of each month. All are invited to attend. Check the calendar for the time and place the committee is meeting.
The mission of the Bloomington Legion Program is to develop its players both mentally and physically for competition at the next level. Furthermore, it is the program's goal to provide our players an environment that gives them the opportunity to further develop their individual skills and experience personal achievement within a team atmosphere. We strive to provide the characteristics of good sportsmanship, honesty, respect, loyalty and a sense of teamwork through a positive competitive environment, so that our fine athletes may become strong, healthy, well-adjusted members of the community.
